Welcome!

I don't love books: I absorb them through the skin. I need an hourly fix or else I start going sane. I also need to write, because I can't breathe if I don't (and I don't make very good vampire impersonations). Genre fiction (sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural) usually, though sometimes I can be caught with both hands wrestling some magical realism out of my word processor, or bleeding a pen for some poetry. I live with cats and an ever-increasing amount of books. Oh, I'm also something of an academic -- I have a BA (Hons) in English and an MA in Creative Writing. Y'know, just for fun.

This site is all about that -- fun. With words, I mean. The trials and tribulations of a sometime writer -- though the "sometime" is rapidly being ignored nowadays, in favour of making more pretty scribbles across a page.
